How the Twelve Peaks Faraday Box Works
Drop Your Keys In
Place your key fob — and any contactless cards — into the velvet-lined interior. The generous size fits 2–4 fobs from any vehicle brand.
Close & Block
The magnetic latch seals shut, activating multi-layer copper and nickel Faraday shielding. All relay signals, RFID, NFC, and keyless frequencies are blocked instantly.
24/7 Vehicle Security
No relay device on earth can read through the box. Your car stays protected around the clock — at home, at work, or anywhere in between.
How It Protects You
Stop Relay Theft Before It Starts
Keyless car theft — also known as a relay attack — is the fastest-growing vehicle crime in the UK. Thieves use electronic relay devices to amplify your key fob's signal through your walls, unlock your car, and drive away in under 60 seconds. No broken windows. No alarm triggered. No evidence.
With Faraday Box — Signal Blocked
- Key placed inside the Faraday Box — signal completely silenced
- Relay amplifiers detect zero signal — no attack possible
- Car stays fully locked and secure all night, every night
Without Faraday Box — Car Vulnerable
- Key fob broadcasts signal through walls 24 hours a day
- Thieves amplify the signal and unlock your car remotely
- Vehicle stolen in seconds — no trace of forced entry

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the Twelve Peaks Faraday Box and pouches.
Yes — and you can test it yourself in seconds. Place your key inside, close the clasp, then try pressing the fob to unlock your car. Nothing happens. Open the box and try again — it unlocks instantly. That's Faraday shielding confirmed. Thousands of our customers have verified this themselves.
Yes. The box (17 × 12 × 7 cm) holds up to 4 key fobs at once, and the large pouch (14 × 9.3 cm) fits virtually all key fob sizes. Compatible with all major brands including BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Volkswagen, Toyota, Ford, Land Rover, Porsche, and Tesla.
No — never. The Faraday Box and pouches use completely passive electromagnetic shielding built into the materials. There are no electronics, no batteries, no charging, and no apps. Just close the lid and it works instantly, every time, forever.
The Faraday Box and pouches block all major wireless frequencies used by car thieves and trackers — including RFID, NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Cellular (GSM/4G/5G). This covers every known method used in relay attacks and keyless entry theft.
A relay attack is when thieves use two electronic devices to amplify your key fob's signal through walls and unlock your car — without ever touching your key. It takes under 60 seconds and leaves no trace of forced entry. It is now the most common method of keyless car theft in the UK and Europe.
Most cheap pouches use a single thin foil layer that degrades quickly and often has gaps at the seams. The Twelve Peaks kit uses multi-layer RF shielding tested to military-grade standards, plus a hard-shell box as your home base — giving you three layers of complete protection in one system.
